HOME IN HOOVER

Had good flights back to Hoover. Plenty of time to change planes in Houston. Today Libby picked me up and we went shopping (including Costco).. Went to her house and saw my babies, Sarah Claire and Sam. Keith came home and Libby and I picked up Katie from school and we went to the Library. Each week they serve ethic food in the cafe and this week was Cuban food. Katie and I had black beans and rice , pork, and plantains. Not as good as south Fla. Then we went to Jessie's Place which is a homeless shelter for women and children. Libs office staff made Shepards pie, salad, rolls and brownies. We helped serve and clean up. They do this once a month. It makes you feel how fortunate we are.........
