Easter Sunday after Church

Went to Brookwood for Easter Services. No Sunday School so Sam and Sarah had to go to big church with us and they were so good. I couldn't believe how good they were.Sarah liked the music. Sam listened to everything.

Friday at the Art Bar

Today I added blue flowers to last night's painting. Also Karen helped me do the leaf watercolor.

Country road

Painted tonight at the Art Bar. Good to be back. Tonight one of the students sang and played the guitar. One song was his own composition and was great. His name is Wes Days

Playing in my craft room

Today I just played with the Gelli art gel printing pad and made some background papers. It's messy but I like how they came out.

Then I played with my Tim Holtz tattered flowers die cut. I smeared distress inks on newspapers and punched out the flower pieces. Fun fun fun.

Mar 18 thru 20th moved to Sedona Hilton

Moved to Sedona Hilton and the landscape is gorgeous Red cliffs are outstanding. Went to dinner tonight for my birthday. The Javelina Cantina in Sedona. After we left The Boulders we stopped at out of Africa. Wildlife park. A tiger jumped at lib and Keith and it's on You Tube under Libbyandkeith. We took Safari Tour and fed the giraffe carrots. That's also on you tube.

Day 2 at The Boulders

Spent the day swimming and reading and watching the birds. We feed them bread crumbs. Saw cardinals, hummingbird, woodpeckers , doves, and several we couldn't name

Trip to Phoenix 3/16/13

Keith,Libby,Sam, Sarah and I flew to Phoenix this morning. Lines were long at ticket counter and security. We got to our gate and they were already boarding the B's. They wouldn't let us on cause it was the wrong gate. I lost Sarah for a few panicky mins. The kids got to go in the cockpit. Flew to Houston then Phoenix. Took forever to get the rental car.. When got to Squaw mountain resort (a Hilton) Libby didn't like it so we left and went further north to The Boulders (a Waldorf Astoria Resort). It is in the middle of the Sororan desert. We have a 2 bedroom Casita with wood burning fireplace and 3 patio areas.

Demo at Jeans

Tonight there was a demo at Jeans. Tom from Lifestyle crafts did demos for their die cuts. He gave out lots of prizes and we made 1 card. It was a nice turn out for Jean. I made turtles for a treat.
