Katie's Surgery

Yesterday Katie had her surgery to repair the scars from her auto accident. She was out of the hospital just hours after the surgery She and Lib are in Mich. staying in a hotel till Fri when Keith and kids will join them.

My Snow Angel

Today we had a nice snow. Not as much as was expected but enough for a crazy Grandmoo from Alabama to make a snow angel with no hat, gloves or coat in 20 degrees.

Kathy Christmas Present

Kathy got a Sure Wave oven that does everything in quick time. Had to test it out so she roasted a chicken. It was crispy brown and it was soooooo moist inside. Delish.

More Denver activities

Took the girls Christmas shopping and out for Breakfast. Took Mari to bowling to meet her friends then Sara and I went to Cicis for lunch. Kathy and Joe went to Colorado Springs for an anniversary getaway I watched the girls. Below is a picture of Kathy and Joe on a Segway tour.

We went to the (unsinkable) Molly Brown House and took a tour of the historic residence. They also had the Titanic exhibit.

We went to Brown Palace Hotel for lunch and the Christmas decorations were out standing.

Denver Christmas

Flew to Denver a few days ago. One day it was 70. Last night it started snowing. This is a pic out of my bedroom window. There is suppose to be more later today. Yesterday Kathy and I went Christmas shopping . I'm making Christmas cookies as a gift to Dudeks. Pictured are magic cookie bars and peanut butter kiss cookies.

Since I'm going to Denver Tues and won't be back till day after Christmas I took presents over tonight.

Sir Stamp A Lot Class

Yesterday Sandy, Paula and I went to lunch at Baskits then to class. Andrea joined us there and we made 3 Christmas Cards. We always have fun when we get together.

Last night we painted an angel. Came out good.

Destin Activites

We went swimming in the pool. Went to Bay Town for charcoal grilled oysters. Santa arrived and they had the tree lighting. The fireworks were great. Earlier Lib and I went to the outlet mall she bought me a bunch of clothes for Christmas. The prices were out of this world. We were there 5 hrs and only made it to 4 stores.

Thanksgiving day at the Beach

We spent a good part of the day on the beach. We had chairs and 2 tent like thingies. We had wine and lunch and the kids played in the sand. Was too cold to swim. It was a beautiful day.

Thanksgiving 2012 Destin, Fl Hilton Hotel

Arrived at Hilton Weds Nov.21,2012. We have 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. There is a living room with a pull out.. We have a view of the Gulf.
