Heading back

I'm at Ft Lauderdale airport going home to Birmingham by way of Jacksonville. Having lunch in airport. Pasha's Mediterranean Cuisine. Had the Pasha pide. Was soooo good Was like a pizza boat with lots of cheese tomatoes and sesame.

Dossy and I had coffee this AM at Barnes and Noble. Took 3 hours to catch up. Great visit.

Dudek summer vacation

Dudeks are going to San Francisco by train (30 hours). Then driving down California coast.

Sweet puss. Raised feral cat from birth and tamed by us. Bob had her spayed and she is our baby.

Key Largo /Islamorado

Drove to key Largo this AM. Then went to Holiday isle. Had lunch at Shulas Burgers. Took cruise on the original African Queen. Now I have to see the movie again. Took picture of Iguana on side of road.

Josie Card Class

Today I met Esther at Einstein's for breakfast. Still the best bagels ever.


The card class was a lot of fun with old friends, Josie, Esther, Pat, Sandy, Arlene and Socks and Georgette our puppy mascots.

We made the cards by stamping on watercolor paper with memories ink
Then used glue pens to adhere the foil.
We used memories ink smushed on an acrylic block and water brushes to watercolor. These were Hero stamps.

Hard Rock Casino Hollywood Fl

Bob and I went to the Hard Rock Casino. It was a beautiful day. The hard Rock Casino (run by the Seminole Indians) is a huge complex of hotel,shops,pools,restaurants and casinos. I lost $20 playing the penny slots.

Finally Back to Fla

Swimming in AM. Playing on raft. The bird came during the night and laid another egg. We never saw her. Came home around 1. Libby and Katie got home from their California trip.
