TAC CARDS

I made these two cards to send to Josie. They are made with TAC stamps. The bottom one is made with price tags inked and embossed.








Carol (Keith's Mom ) and I went on a shopping spree at Hobby Lobby . We went to lunch at The Egg and I and had a great Broccoli and cheddar soup and sandwich. Then we went to Lib's office and checked out all of the new things since Carol was last here. We went on a search for Red Tic Tacs but were unsucessful.

SAT. CLASSES AT SIR STAMP A LOT

Saturday morning in spite of the bad weather and possible tornado warnings Paula, Jean, Sandy. Linda, Andrea and myself showed up for classes. The AM classes was using recipes to make our own glitter sprays. We each made a color and then trading back and forth made a card. Mine is the tree below and it really shimmers.









The afternoon class we all stayed except Linda. We stamped acetate tags and colored with chalk ink.



I was the night shift to watch Katie, Sam and Sarah Claire. Miss Melissa had the harder day shift. Libby and Keith went to a medical conference in Las Vegas Fri thru Mon. The kids were great....

BURLAP CARDS

Today we made 2 burlap cards at Sir Stamps A Lot. Sandy, Jean and I had a good time. Before class I got my car tag renewal. It was a long line and had to wait almost an hour.

BACK IN ALABAMA

Made this card with a TAC stamp and a popup flower. I love pop up cards.
Made these 2 ATCs for a swap. One is Iris folding the other a water color.




Saw Dr. Strawn for checkup today. Got tetnus shot and blood work. All's well.

BUSY FRIDAY

Friday morning Teresa, Jennifer, Deanna and I made 3 cross over cards.













Jennifer brought Lola who has a different outfit for every class. She stays on her Mama's lap the entire class.








Friday night Josie had a crop. Deanna and Josie worked on scrapbook pages and Ellen and I worked on cards.

MONDAY'S CLASS AT JOSIES

Josie had class today and we (Jennifer, Dopey Dragon, and me) made the three cards pictured below.






Two were slide cards and the third was painted with shimmers.

Bob finally has some oranges on the tree. They usually fall off.









This is Bob's ferrel cat, Puss. She's a good girl and we've had her since she was a tiny abandoned kitten.

LUCAYA 4

We had a great trip but the waiting to get on and off the ship and having to go through immigration is a pain especially at 1 AM. We didn't get home till 2 AM. Bob broke even in the casino and I lost $20 on the penny machines. The food and weather was great but it's good to be home.

PORT LUCAYA 2

Bob wanted to join the dancing and singing but was shy..


We had breakfast on the dock and watched the sunrise. Every day was sunny and there was a cool breeze.











At the beach we watched the parasailers. Definately not my cup of tea.

CRUISE TO PORT LUCAYA

On Monday April 5th Bob and I sailed on the Discovery to Port Lucaya in the Bahamas. We stayed at the Pelican Bay Resort. The last picture is the view from our balcony. They had a nice pool side restaurant where we got a great grouper wrap.

MAKE UP CLASSES

After the morning class Josie and I went out to lunch then I took 2 makeup classes. One was Iris folding. I made 7 cards (Easter egg, Bunny, basket, chick, butterfly, and hat.

Also made five black and white cards with gift bag. All the cards were black and white and a touch one one other color.
