HALLOWEEN

Last day in Denver. Tomorrow I fly back to Alabama.

Was a beautiful sunny day and a lot of snow melted but there still is a lot to go.

Mari was a Hippie and Sara was a Flamenco dancer. They had a good time and got and ate a lot of candy. (I got into the Snickers. There goes the diet.)

IT'S STILL COMING DOWN AND I DROVE IN IT!

Jackson is looking for a mouse under the snow under my bedroom window..It snowed all last night and is still snowing. We have around 2 feet.

Joe and I went to grocery and I drove back. What fun. I didn't want to do it but he made me. I'm glad he did. Drove through some deep snow but didn't need the 4 wheel drive. If you click on the pics you will see an enlarged version.

When we got back the girls were playing in the igloo's back yard.

NEWS FROM THE IGLOO

The snow from a few days ago melted and here we go again. It started snowing around 10 last night and these pics were taken at noon today. Looks like we got a good foot so far and it's suppose to snow till tomorrow night. They are expecting at least another foot. It is really beautiful, but I don't have to go out in it. Joe is used to this and has a 4 wheel drive so he went to Einsteins this AM and got us all bagels. I will post more pics later today or tomorrow. Maybe I'll even go out in it....

IT'S SNOWING!!!!!!!!

Whoopie!!! The first pic is out my bedroom window.

The second two are out the back looking across the open
space.

It's still snowing and later I'll go out and play and take more pics.
It probably won't last long after the sun is up for a while.

Colorado Activities

Sara worked on her Seminole project and did a great job. Kathy and I are going to her school today for an open house to see all of the projects.

I went to Archivers today and they had tons of new stuff. It was like being in a candy store. I bought some flip stamps which are colored clear stamps in a flip book. I'll go back at least one more time.

Marielle and Sara had their tennis classes. Both have really improved...

Trip to Colorado

Yesterday was quite an adventure. I flew from Birmingham to Houston. The plane was late leaving . I got a seat close to the front because I only had a 55 minute layover in Houston to get to my flight to Denver. Panic set in when the pilot said we were going to college station to refuel because Houston was shut down due to thunder storms. We were going to wait there till the airport reopened. A few minutes later he came back on and said we'd be able to go to Houston, the airport was open again. By the time we landed I only had 20 minutes to get all the way across the airport to the connection.

I met a young girl across the aisle and she was going to the gate next to mine. She showed me the way and half walking and running I was the last person on the plane and was really huffing and puffing.

We got into Denver a little early.. One of the best surprises was that my luggage made it. Yea..........

Kathy, Marielle, and Sara picked me up and it is so cold. In the 30's

Last night I really slept well.
